The Amazing Fruit of New Hope now!Thank you, K Z. You ROCK!
Don’t forget that K Z’s next release InDescent is due out on 11 May from Liquid Silver Books. Interested?? Here’s more info:
The Blurb
When a breach in the Prism of Nezrabi frees creatures from another plane, a troubled wizard learns there are things more terrifying than the bogeymen of our nightmares. Like inner demons…and love.
Being a powerful, sexually magnetic wizard has its disadvantages. Like inviting the attention of bumbling but persistent rivals. And seductive women. And otherworldly beings.
For Jackson Spey, that isn’t the worst of it. His lover-of-choice is a man with a disturbing past. And a girlfriend. And feelings Jackson is reluctant to return.
The legendary Prism of Nezrabi brings all these elements together when it falls into the hands of Spey’s number-one enemy. No ordinary crystal, the Prism is an intricate microcosm wherein all time, space, and dimensions exist in delicate balance. Humans who’ve been pulled into it have gone mad . . . or simply never returned.
Through inept or malicious magic, the structure’s integrity has been compromised. A breach has freed creatures thought only to exist in Slavic myth. Nobody but the most qualified Adept can repair the split. If Jackson descends into this mystical world, he may have to face something more dreadful than a seemingly impossible task and its potential consequences.
He may have to confront the secrets of his own soul.
Happy reading!
Amazing. I was just going to bed but had to stay up and read this first. Two words WELL DONE!!! Loved it. Although in my tired haze I read that Michael was a pornologist which I thought also had potential. LOL I thought all the spacey words were great. As usual another amazing effort on the author’s behalf. Superb work KZ.
I’ve got to tip my hat to you, KZ. I thought my words were difficult enough, but you really got burdened with some doozies. And you made them work wonderfully! What I loved most was how much world-building you did in such a short story, fantastic!Looking forward to any future efforts from other authors you manage to entrap… er, convince, Kris.
Holy zhit, that was fast! I just came here to get your blog’s url, Kris, so I could add it to my sidebar, and . . . BLAMMY.Now I’m blushing. Thanks, Tam and Sean. Tough to get all artsy-fartsy in under 2k words, but that’s what made the story fun to write. Well, that, and the six highly intelligent prompts. 😀 I just threw caution to the wind! And thanks, Kris, for the pimpage. I didn’t expect it. That was actually . . . very sweet. (Just don’t start gagging. It isn’t a very feminine sound.)

Try again without the typos…KZ, I bow down to your awesomeness. That was a great little story. Hub had to ask why I was killing myself laughing when I got to the sly insertion of the Star Trek phrase. Inspired!Kris: Thanks for thinking up all those great choices for KZ to use. Very entertaining :).
Very, very good, K.Z! I really wondered how can you get everything we, mean bast… err, I mean lovely readers, voted for into one story. Very, very smart! Loved it!
That wsa such great FUN!!! And yes, I agree with the others, you created a great story from the most ghastly, sorry, I mean challenging prompts!I can never get myself enough of the KZ’s…LOL*hugs*
KZ:I knew everyone would be as impressed and would love it as much as I did, K Z! Who’s moronic now?! LOL.I’m with Sean on the worldbuilding. Absolutely amazing for such a short read.
Everyone else: What the hell! Stop bagging my choices. They were as truly inspired as was K Z’s writing. *mutteringratesmutter*
Now I’m well and truly embarrassed, especially after realizing how the story could’ve stood some polishing. I’ve spotted all sorts of things that need changing. Argh! That’s what I get for racing along.Still, I’m glad it wasn’t a totally reeking piece of, uh … prose. I say Clare does the next one! 😉
KZ, great job!!! I loved this little story, lol, fabulous how you got the live long and prosper into it.Kris, thanks for the great choices for word prompts, the story was great!!
Many thanks, Lily. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I think Kris is in hiding now. 🙂
Merely hibernating, K Z.And see! Lily thought my choices were great. She can stay. As for the rest of you…*Adding Clare’s name to list. Hehehe.*
Thank you K.Z.! That was fantastic, and I echo all the amazing comments about the world-building! Plus, I loved how all the prompts just appeared effortlessly :)Kris is right – you ROCK!
K Z “The Rock” Snow. Come on down!
Thank you, orannia.Kris, I think “the Fossil” is more like it! 🙂
I’m being set up, and by god, I know which Fossil to blame *glare*. I’m an innocent in a den of authors’ iniquity, dammit, I don’t even know what a were-kangaroo *is*….LOL
I’m pimping this on my blog tomorrow, it’s great fun. I loved both Sean’s and KZ’s.
^___^
Hey, Clare! Happy Mum’s Day (even though you’re not here to enjoy it)!
Thanks KZ! We have Mum’s day in March over here – but I greedily claim the US one as well. We Mums need all the fun we can get *lol*.

How’s the first two weeks in June for writing the choose your own m/m story, Clare?? Excellent. I’ll pencil it in, shall I. *snicker*
