The inaugural winner of this long awaited – and already prestigious – award will be announced on Friday 15 May (Tracy’s time)/Saturday 16 May (Kris’ time).
*Tracy: Why is it taking us so long again?
Kris: That would be because of the 33 fr@cking nominations – Count ‘em. Thirty. Three. And that doesn’t include the double-ups. – we got!

Ohhh. Is there going to be a red carpet show before the big announcement? You ladies parading in your finery while we all critique from afar? That would be fun. I’m sure such illustrious gems as yourselves will have no difficulty making the correct choices when the time arrives. Can I get you anything? Champagne? Chocolate truffles? 😀
Of course there will be a huge event, Tam. Tracy and I already have our frocks picked out and of course it goes without saying that the blogging community will come to a grinding halt for the announcement of the Book Sluts ‘r’ Us blogger award.
Any choice that Tracy and I make IS the correct choice. Those who question us run the risk of their towering tbrs coming crashing down upon them.
BTW, are you offering to make up the judges’ gift packs?? You couldn’t give me cash instead, could you?? $4 should do it.
