I watched the first season of the British series on YouTube and that seems to be the end of it. I wasn't sure I wanted to start the American version because I'd have to start over. Blah.

I've heard lots of great things about QAF. I tried watching the first series on YouTube but it's in 10 min slots and some of the bits of the first episode are missing. I'd buy the box set but hub would probably freak :).
As a fellow OCD-er, I sympathize š But then, while you're basking in your new obsession it's oh-so-sweet.
I bought the first season of QAF over a year ago and never watched it because of competing OCDs. Its time will come, though ;).
I rarely watch telly as it is….
I know of the show – but other than little glimpses of the UK version, I have never watched it and not interested to…

I love QaF. I had to buy the box set and now my MIL has it and won't give it back. lol I even did a fan fic on it. lol
No, no, no! You can't pimp another soap to me. I already have DeRo and Kish in my weekly YouTube routine, I can't handle Brian/Justin too! The worst thing is that at some moment you get at the point that you have watched all the episodes up until today and you have to WAIT for the next epi! I'm not good at waiting š

Now I'm trying to figure out when Christian and Olli's romance started on Verbotene Liebe.
It had been nearly twenty years since I watched soap operas, and now I'm watching two and counting. Keeps me out of trouble, I guess.
So… I might have insomnia at the moment, but at least I have the complete series of QAF to keep me company! Of course, it could be a bit of a Catch 22, but I'm also too tired and too enamoured with the pretties to give a shit *beams*
Tam: The UK version only went for a series. The US went for 5… soooo good and soooo worth it.

EH: I'm a tv serialist. Instead of tellie I tend to buy series at a time and have a total watch fest. Actually it's what I do when I'm bored with reading too. I get to the point of tv overdosing and return to reading out of sheer need to activate my brain. LOL.

I watched it in first run, years ago. Damn it was hot and clever and timely.
In the same RPG where Naomi and I met, I was also playing Debbie Novotny. She ran the diner and second-hand shop just off campus.

After the first season, I watched clips and found out about the ending for Brian and Justin. It might not be HEA, but it seemed to me that it couldn't have really ended any other way and that there was definitely still a future for them.
Or I could just be a sap. *g*
