Yeah, it was awesome meeting everyone, blah, blah, but I never got to visit the fabled land:
Sooo disappointing. *poutmope*

About Kris
Reads, rants, randoms & R+s. You've been warned. BTW, don't follow me if you're a GLBTQQphobic wanker. It won't end well. For you.
OMG! You missed the opportunity to try American pancakes???
Is that supposed to be something special? I like them way better at home when I can get the crispy on the edges.
Val: *sniffles*
Miranda: That would involve cleaning up. I hate cleaning up cooking things.
Well shit.
She COULD have had American pancakes On Monday morning but she chose some healthyish omelette thingy. Granted, they weren't IHOP but they were probably a gazillion times better. 🙂
The kid and I had American pancakes (normal old pancakes to us) with sausage for dinner last night. Of course she had her's with pumpkin pie jam on them. I know, I know. I won't go there Kris, but you really can't have too many things flavoured like pumpkin pie.
Word veri: chiew – what you have to do to some of that IHOP food, chew HARD.
Tam, pumpkin pie jam??
I think I'm gonna throw up…
Kris – all you had to do was say the word and we could have eaten there! Had I only know. *sigh*
Pumpkin spice cappuccino is DELISH. North America's favorite gourd is very versatile, Kris.
You know, there are just too many regional restaurant chains in this country. Ticks me off I can't get White Castle sliders anymore or go to a Waffle House or Arthur Treacher's, just because I live in the wrong state. 😦
Try living in the wrong country KZ. LOL My daugher it pissed there is no Sonic, White Castle or Chik-Fil-A up here. Not that we're really missing much I don't think, it's the idea of it.
Tracy: You kept getting lost as it was. I didn't want to put you off even more. 😛
KZ: Don't make me vomit on you. Blech.
LMAO!
*pets Kris* You got to go to Disney and meet everyone. That trumps IHOP.
I totally understand about the cleaning up. Food is always better if someone else does the cooking and cleaning. Plus, during October, IHOP had all you can eat pancakes.
Tam, you are definitely missing something if you don't have Sonic! Cherry limeade, cheesy tots! Cholesterol heaven. *sigh*
K.Z., I know what you mean. I've never been to White Castle. I've wanted to ever since Harold and Kumar. Alas, we don't have them here.
Um… so WHY is going to IHOP such a big deal?
Chris, Kris wanted to see all the one-legged waitresses.
Lord, that joke is so bad, but I never get tired of it.
Last time I was in So Cal–if that's the IHOP next to Disneyland–I ate in that very place.
I brought home coconut syrup from Hawaii for my pancakes. Unbelievably delish. And Tam–we do the jelly thing. We roll our pancakes with jelly and,er, sprinkle sugar on top.
Sweet.
I've said it once and I'll say it again…I get no respect!
I TOLD you I knew how to get to each place from my house…but not from one place to another. So totally different. And it was and ADVENTURE you were on, don'tchaknow.
MMMMM pumpkin pie jam.
Oh Lordy I haven't had Arthur Treacher's in forever!
Lisabea – Nope that's the IHOP on Sunset almost right across the Hollywood High School near Highland Ave. But they all look the same! lol
My veri word is: spoingen.
And with a mighty roar he shot his spoingen.
**hands Tracy a tissue**
Kris, what the hell do you people eat, anyway? I haven't seen so much gag reaction since–
I won't say it. This is a decorous blog.
Thank you Lisa. *sniff*
Wait – decorous blog? Bwwahhhhhaaa!
KZ – She said she'd been jonesin for vegemite. 🙂
I just made pancakes for dinner. Mmmmmmmm.
captcha: “frart”
Decorous? Not quite the adjective I'd use. LOL!
Jonesing for vegemite? I've never tried the stuff, but my friends assure me that I don't want to try it.
Aww, I'm sorry you missed IHOP. I love IHOP– fly on back and visit me, and I'll take you there. 😀
If you follow the pancake recipe on the Bisquick box, those taste pretty much like IHOP pancakes (actually I like the Bisquick pancakes better). Do you have Bisquick in Australia? I know we used to be able to get it in Saudi Arabia.
OK, I know I live at the bottom of the planet, but…IHOP?
*runs to the source of all knowledge*
And, yes, if you thought the answer to that was Kris you would be right *beams* *turns off sucking up gene* I meant the second source…Google!
*looks at results of Google search*
*faints*
There was an IHOP in SF, but Kristen told me I couldn't eat there.
The pancakes at the diner where we ate on that Monday were delicious. You should have gone for that instead of the veggie omelette.
Eyre: I blame you for this particular obsession.
Tam has given me approval to blame everyone else except myself. I'm running with it.
Chris: *points to previous comment*
LB: Are you deliberately trying to rub it in??
KZ: “I won't say it. This is a decorous blog.”
That's right! *glares at Tracy & Eyre*
JenB: Biatch.
Richelle: ” I love IHOP– fly on back and visit me, and I'll take you there. :D”
YAY! I'll save up for it.
No Bisquicks. *sniffle* It's not fair.
Orannia: It is true. The force is strong with google… and me. 😛
Jenre: I was being healthy! Oh, btw, Kristen eats pumpkin sweets. You can;t trust a thing she says.
there's just no pleasing some people….
welcome back Kris!
Kaetrin: Don't think I don't know that you're taking the piss. *crosses name off souvenir list*
What the hell are you doing awake? Are you still on US time?
I was just about to ask what Chris asked!
Don't growl at me. 😦
Apparently I am now on New Zealand time. I guess I'm getting closer??
*sigh*
Whatever do you mean? *blinks innocently*
I was at Ihop last Sunday. Oh the whole grain pancakes… nom.
Did you know their blueberry pancakes have more calories than some of their desserts? O.o
What in god's name is pumpkin pie jam? Sounds perfect for my WTFckery post!
Kaetrin: Hmpf!
Katiebabs chook: “Did you know their blueberry pancakes have more calories than some of their desserts?”
So?? 😛 You gotta ask Tam about that disgusting pumpkin stuff. I don't wanna know.
