… I don’t appear to have been around much at all this week, do I??
Granted, I used my awesome powers of persuasion for the purposes of evil good – less than a day to go to make your choices for K Z Snow’s m/m story! go here for the details – and Tracy and I announced the opening of nominations for the inaugural Book Sluts ‘r’ Us Blogger Award *woo hoo*.
These are obviously very BFDs in the blogging community and require considerable amount of my procrastination resources.
The rest of my time this week has been spent with very sick kittens, looking after an extremely grumpy, sick Kris (this household is diseased – although NOT swine flu, thank the Gods), and meeting deadlines associated with the I’m-ready-to-kill-someone-so-stop-asking-me-stupid-questions job. 😦
So, besides all this and watching adaptations of Hercule Poirot to make me feel better (I LOVE him. I seriously do. *sigh*), I have, umm, apparently been reading…
This, even for me, is quite possibly a little excessive.
I’ve also realised I haven’t yet done the tasting of T A Chase’s Allergies for Tracy (she was #8 anyway so she can wait!) and it’s likely I will only be able to get one review to Wave this week (stupid work interfering with my virtual life *pouts*).
The bottom line is that I obviously need to get my shit together before I turn into an emo, angsty mess…
… oh wait…
Well, fuck.
*sigh*
Anyway, I will be back tomorrow with the results of your choose your own m/m story. Oh, and let me know if you would like me to taste any of the books above and I will add it to my list of ‘to dos’. 🙂
I thought I’d leave you all with this prettie, who was prescribed to me during the week by the Californian butt lady. Perhaps this explains my glut on m/m fiction this week?? Enjoy!
And it was just the Rx you needed wasn’t it? CA butt lady! Yep, that’s me. :)I’ll wait patiently by my computer for my taste. Hopefully I won’t grow old while waiting…and waiting…and waiting. :)So wow – you went to town on the books, didn’t you. Good for you. Nothing makes me feel betterer when I’m sick than a book! :I’d love a taste of Longhorns, Happy Ending and Collared, Turquoise and Leather. But I’ll wait…and wait…and wait. 🙂
Wow, you are a busy lady. I’m curious what you thought of “To Have and To Hate” and “Carey’d Away”. Those are the only two I read. I like to compare my opinion with those of brilliant souls such as yourself. :-DHope you and your kitties are feeling better now.
Eye candy is quickly becoming one of my drugs of choice, Tracy. 🙂 Of course, nothing – well, very few things – can beat books as a pick-Kris-up… as you may have guessed. LOL.It’s only been a couple of weeks. Geez, some people are so friggin pushy, not to mention demanding. *adding books to tasting list*
Of course, I will taste those for you, Tam dearest. It’s a pure pleasure to chat books with awesome people such as yourself. :)*Tracy, please take notes on the appropriate way to behave on this blog.*Thanks for your thoughts. I would say that I’ll give the boy kittens a pat for you, but they’re being sookie enough as it is. *sigh*
And there’s a problem with reading lots of m/m romance in one week? *grin* I’m playing catch-up on this genre, and I feel like…is wallowing the right word?…in it :)And the photo…. *SIGH*
And I hope you and the kittens are feeling better soon Kris!
Wallowing works for me, Orannia. LOL.Thanks for your wishes. 🙂 I just gave the boy kittens their medicine; one of whom thought he was getting the treat of his life! I swear he is more like a dog than a cat sometimes.*such a prettie all tied up for us*
Lemsip! Douse yourself in it – it’s the cure for all cold/flu symptoms.Seriously, sorry that you and the moggies are poorly and hope you get better soon.Am V impressed by book reading, especially as I have only managed to read two out of that pile. I’d be interested on your thoughts on Freeman and Happy Ending to see if they tally with mine.I wait with barely concealed impatience for the results of your poll tomorrow :).
Lemsip?? Ick! Thanks anyway, Jen. :)I was pretty impressed myself with the reading. I had absolutely no idea that I’d read that much. No doubt my back account will let me know all about it though. :(Will add “Happy Ending” and “Freeman” to my list for you, Jen.I’m looking forward to seeing the results myself. *hehehe* Why do I have the feeling that K Z is seriously gonna kick my arse though?? LOL.
Impressive reading list!Hope you sick bay empties out quickly 🙂
Sorry to hear you and the kitties are feeling poorly, I hope you all get better real soon.Impressive list of books, I'd be interested in your thoughts on Collared Turquoise & Leather, To Hate and To Hold and Longhorns. I've got all three on my TBR list but I need to finish my Challenge list before I can get to them.Btw, nice picture, very yummy looking butt!!!
Well, since you’re all sick and bizzy an stuffs, I’ll take the butt boys and keep them occupied so you can work. See what a good friend I am?C’mere boys!
Ingrid: It would clear out even faster if one of the little buggers would actualy take his medicine, instead of me havint to clean half of it off myself each friggin time. *mutter, mutter*Lily: Thanks, and will definitely taste those books for you. There seems to be a lot of interest in them, doesn’t there.A biteable butt if ever I saw one. *g* I did have a beautiful bubble butt, which the CA butt lady also prescribed. He is visiting K Z’s under-the-desk harem at the moment… hopefully he will come back in a semi-respectable condition. Emmy: Wow, Emmy. Sooo helpful. A true friend. Now don’t be afraid, boys. Will she…?? Of course, she won’t do anything of a debaucherous nature to you, my pretties. You be good in the kitteh cave for the Lady Emmy.Psst. You’re still taking pics like our first arrangement, right Emmy??
