To this end, I’ve decided to continue appropriating from others and not actually add anything myself. I figure that they’ll turn up eventually anyway.

That's how I did my whole damn list. LOL If I'd had to start from scratch entirely I would never have done anything. If you want to add a book that's not on there its quite a bit of work. Most of the ones missing for me are shorts and I'm not sure its worth that amount of work for a 10 page story.
Okay, I've been lurking over here and now I have to say, Kris, you have led me down…some…not-garden path! I've had a goodreads account and never did anything with it. Then you do these posts and I think OMG I must update my account cuz I am gonna be an author and now it's like crack b/c I have a freakin' spreadsheet of the books I've read but goodreads won't read it and so I'm typing in the title or the authors and adding them. And just a little OCD compels me to complete the whole damn list *deepbreath*
All better now.

I am having a difficult time friending you Kris. Is it cause I am using a mac? When I go to the add friends page, I can't use that string you gave me. Is there some other place to try it?
I would think you would find me by using wren or wrenboo. Where does that http string come up cause I don't know that I have one.

That's how I added all my books too. I didn't even consider putting one in from scratch. My laziness beats my OCD any day. 😛

I cut a swathe through Lily's list first then Elisa's then Richelle's then Tracy's then KB's, etc, etc, but there were a number of ocassions where I got distracted and started going through author's lists. Then I would have to go to the original list and start again cos I'd forget what page I was on. Good Reads ADD.
