Yesterday’s post got me really curious about how many readers would actually buy a graphic novel version of their favourite m/m romance story.
Since everyone knows how nosy I am, I decided to just go ahead and create a poll to see who would fork out their hard-earned $$.
So, here it is!
Please take the time to do the clickity thing.
You never know who might be taking an interest. *fingers crossed*
It is a very lovely poll, frustrating as it might've been to do. 🙂
Chris is right. It is lovely.
Yeah, yeah. But did you vote?
It's a lovely poll? How is a poll lovely? If it had been a pole, then maybe…
I voted. Always civic-minded, that's me.
“Perve is my middle name”, ha, ha!
Wren: “If it had been a pole, then maybe…”
*snort* Oh, you're definitely back in fine form. *g*
Val: I take it that you could relate to that, Val. 😉
Wren, I post lovely poles on tumblr all the time. 😉
LOL! That Eyre does. Apparently it is 'research'. ;P
Eyre: “I post lovely poles on tumblr all the time.”
I am aware of this fact, as I visit daily, sometimes thrice-daily!
Nice poll *winks*
I loved Black Wade – but I don't know if I want a book I've already read and have it remade in graphic novel. It's like asking if I want my favorite books made into movies. Probably not… I'd rather just see an original m/m graphic novel.
If the novel looks anything like Black Wade, my pervy self is all for it.
Twimom227: “It's like asking if I want my favorite books made into movies.”
That is a very good point, and one I agree with because I have been disappointed so many times.
Question… Twimom ;P… have you read the first volume of the Twilight graphic novels? It was way more in line with the how I had envisioned the story than the movies have been.
Katiebabs chook: You and everyone else, me thinks. 😀
Kris: No I haven't even picked the Twilight GN up to look at it… is it worth it? I want to get the Dark Hunter Manga, but I have so many other books to buy, I've let it slide.
Twimom227: I thought the artwork was stunning and had a fey/surreal quality to it that was, to me at least, more in line with the first novel in particular.
The one thing that did disappoint me was Bella. I have a very different picture in my head about what Bella is like in both the movies and the graphic novel.
