I don’t even have the words to express how wrong I think this is.
I’m going to have nightmares tonight.
I know it.

When I saw that earlier, my reaction was similar! WTF?
Why? How would you even understand what was going on in the last book if you hadn't read any of the previous?
Chris: I'm with you. *shakes head* So very, very wrong.
Richelle: Yep. And what would happen if you read the last book and hated it because it wasn't convincing or couldn't understand it? Would you read the series or would you give it the flick and possibly miss out on a great story?
It is so not right! I can't understand why you would do such a thing.
Oh, no! That is just so….wrong.
*shudder*
So wrong. What if you read Shadowfever first? You totally wouldn't get it. What if you read A Darkness at Sethanon first? Or The Return of the King?
You could totally read Strwberries For Dessert first though, but I don't think that's what the postcard person meant.
Just WRONG
That is all.
Oops. Should have been Strawberries.
While I do sometimes read the ending first, that's taking it a step too far even for me. Especially as Nichem said, how would you even know what is happening? Weird. People are weird. Except me of course.
Ingrid: Me either.
Jen: My initial response was to curl up in a fetal position. Too terrifying for words.
Kaetrin: Yeah. While there are some series where individual books would be able to stand alone, nut, no, that's not what the person meant. *shudders*
Tam: I sometimes read the endings of a book too. 'A' book indicating a one-off story, though, not a friggin series.
“People are weird. Except me of course.”
Keep telling yourself that, mate, cos you're the only one who'll end up believing it.
I do read the last book first but if it's a one off book I sometimes read the last chapter. Especially if I am having a bad day and need a happy ending.
On a different note we are getting a new family member. His name is Emris and he is a labradoodle. Time to puppy proof my house. (kimberlenes labradoodles if you want to see what they look like)
Tish
Veri word – loomme yes I must be loomme to be thinking of another kid/puppy in this house.
That should have read 'I don't read' not I do read…. Sheesh it's to bloody early in the morning for me. Okay it's before 9 am but that's still bloody early.
Tish
I have been know to…um…move around a little bit, but not lately… *hides*
Tish: “Especially if I am having a bad day and need a happy ending.”
Totally understand that, and it's also going to become my excuse for rereading sex scenes.
More importantly…
PUPPY! want pics! NEED PICS!
Orannia: I hope you're talking about moving around a series in which the books can be read as stand-alones. If not…
WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?!
