  1. Tam says:

Ummm. Tracy? Jenre? Oh wait, let me think. Could it be …. Kris? That goddess of blogging?

Put me down for the second one, would be a waste of postage on the first.

  2. nichem says:

Hmmm, is it Wave or Jenre? Or maybe Kassa. *ponders* Nope, can't think of any more bloggers off the top of my head, must be one of those 3.

Oh wait– Kris! My Good Reads pal! Aren't we having FUN on there?!

I already have both those books, so don't include me, but, um, Happy early Birthday?

  3. Kris says:

Tam: Of course, it's me. Silly!

Ok, putting you down. You suck. Your posts suck. Ha. Ha. Iz so funny. *wipes tear from eye*

Richelle: You will have plenty of opportunity to wish me happy birthday (with cookies on top) all the way up to the day proper. It's probably the only thing that will make up for your Good Reads con. Believe me.

  4. Lily says:

So the pink haired reading and blogging goddess is having a birthday soon… I'll have to look for some special cookies to share with you 😉

Put me down for the 2nd book, please.

  5. Ingrid says:

Geesh I got no clue. Can I use my helpline?

“So Ingrid who are you going to call?”
“I would like to call the Mumma please”
“Good evening Mumma, we are looking for someone with a birthday on the 30th of September”
“That would be my little Krissy! Oh, I remember the first time she road her bike clearly and the first time she ate macaroni. She was covered from top till toe in tomato sauce. She looked so cute in diapers….
“Thank you Mumma that will be all!”

  6. Kris says:

Lily: Cookies?? I promise to be good. *bats eyelashes* Maybe.

Ingrid: *snort* Cute, but we call them nappies here in Oz.

So, you wanna book or what??

  7. orannia says:

Hmmm – it can't be anyone but the wonderful and awe-inspiring Kris…I'm sucking up too much aren't I? I hope we're having 30 days of partying to celebrate? Ummm….which book would you suggest Kris? My computer won't cope with Wave's site *sob sob* so I can't read the review 😦

Am crossing fingers that computer will work as it decided to pack another sad on Saturday night and I have no idea how I managed to get it working tonight…

    LOL Ingrid!

  8. Ingrid says:

Of course I am in for a free book *g*.

  9. Sean Kennedy says:

I believe it's that guy who abducted Jacy Lee Duggard. I will miss his posts on alien mind control.

  10. The Mumma says:

    Hey Sean

    This is the Mumma speaking!

Are you taking the mickey at my daughter's expense?

    That's so not nice…

  11. The Mumma says:

    Hi Ingrid…

The girl child was a really noisy brat, she cried all night until about fifteen months!!!

But then, she made up for it by becoming this obnoxious kid who couldn't get enough reading material. Actually she probably will kill me for saying this, when she was really young she would sit under the counter of my Mum's shop and open up all the classified (you know the ones I mean) magazines “to read”.

No Sissy, I'm not telling tales to your friends, promise…

  12. Ingrid says:

Why doesn´t that surprise me mumma! *g*

Did you know it is my mumma´s birthday today?

  13. The Mumma says:

    Hi Ingrid…

Please give your Mumma my best wishes for a lovely day… you know – she must be loverly 'cos she's a virgo too, and we are fantabulous people!

As to the girl child, she could read at such a young age that it really scares me… I think that she must be brainy or something.

She must take after me 'cos I am, after all, THE MUMMA EXTRAORDINAIRE!

  14. Kris says:

*wrestles back control of the keyboard*

Yanno, Ingrid, the Mumma came to see me cos I'm sick NOT to talk to you. *pouts* I'll put you in the draw anyway cos I'm nice and not vindictive and stuff.

Orannia: I'll just write your name down for both.

Have you tried Wave's new site or is that still killing your computer? I'll cross my fingers and toes that your computer continues to waddle along. 🙂

Sean: You can be funny sometimes. Not often. But sometimes.

That, and cos you write ok, is why you are worthy of stalkage.

Oh, and plus you like cats. *g*

  15. Ingrid says:

I don´t mind talking to the mumma

Sorry to hear you don´t feel well though.

btw I put Sean´s new book on Goodreads 🙂

  16. Anonymous says:

I remember someone threatn..I mean asking M L Rhodes about a book release for her birthday.. Was it you Kris?
I will treat you to any e-book you want just lemme know which.
    Happy Birthday!
    Suzi.

  17. Tam says:

    Happy Birthday Ingrid's Mumma!

Precocious, yep, that's our Kris. 🙂

  18. Sean Kennedy says:

Oh, Mumma, you know Kris and I have a special relationship…

So was this one of those funny times, Kris?

  19. Kris says:

Suzi: “I remember someone threatn..I mean asking M L Rhodes about a book release for her birthday.. Was it you Kris? “

Ummm… I think that must have been someone else making a suggestion about a possible Fall release date of 30 September. Yanno, as a potential b'day present for… someo-err… stopping now…

Really an ebook?? No, no really. You don't have to do that just for me. Really. I insist. *We'll talk later, Suzi.*

Tam: Wot u talkin' 'bout, Tam?!

    Sean: No.

    Ok.

    Maybe.

  20. Sean Kennedy says:

Ingrid, I forgot to thank you for adding the book!

  21. wren says:

Gosh, I really don't know that many bloggers. But I think it's nice that you are giving prezzies away for their birthday, whoever they are. Tell them I said Happy Birthday month!

  22. Jenre says:

Y'know our birthdays are exactly 1 month apart. If only it wasn't also by 2 years :).

I don't get to be excited bout my b'day cos the twins' birthday is 4 days after mine so they've rather taken over all the excitement!

  23. K. Z. Snow says:

Wait a minute. I thought Kris didn't have a navel. Which means she couldn't possibly have a birthday.

Now, of course it's possible to have a birthday without having other parts, like a foreskin or eyebrows, but a navel? No way.

Kris, you wanna read my Ellora's Cave fantasy trilogy? For nothin'? 'Cause, you know, I do feel sorry for you…

(I would love to read Thinking Straight, but not if it would cost you an arm and a na– uh, a leg to send it to me.)

  24. Kris says:

Wren: Ha. Ha. Look, do you want a friggin' book or what.

Jen: You're back. 🙂 Cool about our b'days being 1 month apart… and about the 2 years. Hehehe.

K Z: Just call me Kris ABC.

Do I want free books?? Wait a sec. Yep, I still have a pulse. I'll wait until 30 Sept tho cos I don't want to be spolit or anything. It has to be MY 30 September, not yours. An extra day WILL kill me.

It won't cost me a navel to mail you Thinking Straight. Plus it's my b'day month which means I get to spend all the money I want. That's a rule yanno.

  25. orannia says:

Orannia: I'll just write your name down for both.

    Is that allowed?

No, I haven't tried Wave's new site. Will try it on the weekend – thanks for the heads up 🙂

  26. Kris says:

'Course it's allowed. My game. My rulez. 🙂

  27. Kris says:

By the power of 'eeny meeny miny mo', the winners of the giveaway were:

    “Thinking Straight” – Ingrid!

“Call Me By Your Name” – Orannia!

Congrats to you both. I'll be in contact. 🙂

  28. Ingrid says:

    Yooooooooohoooooooooo!

It's wonderful. Thank you Kris 🙂

  29. Lily says:

    Congrats, Ingrid and Orannia!!
