Well, it’s 34 degrees Celsius in Perth at the moment heading for a top of 38 and the boy kittens and I are hiding in the air-conditioning wiling away the time until I can have my first beer or glass of wine (or both) for the day.
So, on the theme of melting….
… do you reckon this will help cool me down??
It’s 3.50pm and 36 degrees now! I’ve just read an article that said Australians are turning to drinking champagne in this current financial crisis. Hey how about coming over and sharing the bottle I have in the fridge, we could even throw in a hibiscus or two.

Champagne? Little, bitty hibiscus flowers? Hell yes I’m in. Have you got your air-con on though? No way I’m braving the heat without both coolness and alcohol at the end of the trip.PS – You posted this twice, hence the removal of one of the comments.PSS – Why didn’t you just ring me, Mumma??
Do you have to boast about the weather Kris? It’s -4 C here in Toronto and the wind chill makes it seem like -22 C. I like your guy with all the sweat pouring down his body – someone should lick it off *g* Have a great New Year.
*sluuurrrrp* After nearly 4 days of about 35 C weather, I’m not sure about whether or not I’m up to boasting. On the other hand it is a fabulous excuse to drink ice cold beer and slushy, extra strength margaritas.. maybe I am boasting after all. *g*Happy New Year to you too!PS – I wasn’t kidding re: your reviews and interviews, you know. No, not liking them anymore allowed in 2009. Hmmm, in fact make that eva. LOL.
