The project from hell is seriously kicking my butt this week, which has meant less time for me to write for the blog (although this hasn’t stopped me from posting comments elsewhere, has it? hee, hee).
I am also focused on my 16 book challenge (see side bar for updates). Yeah, yeah, Readolution 2, blah, blah. It actually has more to do with the two (count them, TWO) packages of books I have within which are some, if not all, of my eagerly awaiteds.
How many books do you think are in there anyway?

Are the guys on the Ellora’s Cave book covers seriously built or what!
I have that scene in my head from Mel Brooks’ History of the World: Part 1 where the Empress Nympho is selecting her slaves (“yes, no, no, no, no, no, no, yes.. “). This is how I imagine the models for the book covers being chosen, which of course would be totally discriminatory and objectifying if it were true. Right? *cough* Yes, right!
You know looking at these a whole heap of ‘b’ words spring to mind… buff, belly, beautiful, back, bulging, bare…

It’s srsly killing me, Ozakie, to not open those book packages. I’m thinking of taking them over to my Mumma’s so that she can keep them safe for me until I read the rest of the ‘Bloody 16’ (my new name for the tbr pile).I’m so glad I’m not the only one who’s noticed the EC covers. Although granted how could you miss them cos those guys are freaking hot!
It’s the same guy! No, I’m sure that the same guy is at least one of the men on each cover.What’s great about them is that they aren’t overly beefy. I hate that steroid induced massive muscle man a la Schwartzeneggar. I love the slim but well defined muscles on these covers. Yum, yum, yum.I’ve never read anything from EC.Also, I bow down in awe of your speed reading. You are the master of the reading of books.
They’re so pretty, aren’t they. I go to the EC website just to look at the covers! No, I’m not… well, yes, maybe I am that bad. *g*If it’s not too nosy, have you not read anything from EC because they don’t particpate in places like All Romance eBooks? I must admit it is mainly for that reason I haven’t bought/read any of their books for a while.Why are you so surprised re: my reading? I keep telling you all that I am a Goddess. Out tonight though and have yet to master self-replication so doubt any more books will turn up on the list for a day or so.
I think it’s partly because they are so self contained. They don’t sell their books on any of the sites like BooksonBoard, which is where I buy most of my ebooks from publishers like Samhain or the larger print publishing houses. I also never think to go and look there.

Oh I do love EC covers – well, maybe not all but most of their models are beautiful. There are a couple that could be taken away completely and I’d be a happy camper! 🙂
I likey the boys on boys. The m/f/m and some of the m/f covers not so much. Some of the girl models have srsly big boobs – have you noticed or is it a me thing again?
