stolen from here
Over on Goodreads, the m/m reading group is doing a Secret Santa book exchange. Kassa and I love this idea so signed up there, but also figure there’s a bunch of others who might like to play too.
So Kassa had the fabulous idea to do a Secret Santa with anyone who may not be involved with the Goodreads group and I just tagged along to take some of the credit. I’m very sharing like that.
If you are already doing a gift exchange and want to get in here, please do! You can sign up on either this post or at Kassa’s LJ. We’re going to be offering 2 or more gift certificates to ARe for random participants. The more people that sign up, the more gift certificates that get thrown into the mix.
What is the Secret Santa?
Gifting! You buy someone an ebook of their choice and you get one in return. This way you’re giving gifts while getting some too. It’s such a fun concept and great way to get something you’ve always been eyeing too.
How to sign up?
It’s easy! Just comment here, in email, Direct Message (err, I’m pretending very hard right now that I know what this is), or at Kassa’s LJ. When signing up please include the following information:
Your email.
Your #1 choice for ebook. This way you’re sure to get what you want!
Your #2 choice for ebook. It’s always smart to have a backup.
On Friday (Saturday in the Land of Oz and the Island of Tricksy Hobbitses and Sheepsies), Kassa will make a master list of everyone participating and send out the name of your Secret Santa the same day. You’ll have until Christmas to send and get your gift.
Any questions?

I'll join in. I'm not doing the Good Reads one. I have to think what book I want. I just bought a bunch so don't have much on my “to want” list.
Oh wait, yes I do.
First choice: Oleander House by Ally Blue (I said I'm going to read this series)
Second Choice: Book 1 in the Adrian English series (who's title escapes me). Maybe as well stick to a theme “series I haven't read”.
Either would be great. You need my e-mail? I think both you and Kassa have it.
I saw the GR one but did not join. I rather like the idea of doing this with trusted friends. People I know.
Now for my choices. Let me get back on that one. Since I am all for instant gratification I buy the books I want to have almost always right away.
I thought of two. Windows in Time by Jules M Aedin or Exploring Savage places by KZ Snow
Now if I only can remember where I put the hook to hang up my christmas wraith on the door I will be one happy person
I like it! Of course I'll join too 😛
My titles, well, let's see… ok:
1) To Be Where You Are by KZ Snow – InDescent is at the very top of my TBR pile!
2) Beautiful C*cksucker II – Such a Good Boy by Barbara Sheridan – I haven't read read book I and I don't think I'll do it, but book II sounds intriguing.
I'll join in! 🙂 I'll post my info later today when I'm not at work and rushing to not get caught! lol
Um…yeah. So it's only m/m? Yeah then I'm out. I'm sorry…I just can't seem to get into it. I've read a couple and they're hot (I admit), but they also kind of squick me out.
Tam, if you want Adrien English, I've got it. I'd be happy to just email it to you if you'd like. Let me know. 😀
Oh fun! I didn't sign up for the GR secret santa because I didn't want to make my profile visible to all, but I'll play here. I'll need to get back to you with my choices, though. Just ebooks, right? I don't want to have to go to the post office during Christmas. 😛
Tam, you really need to read Adrien English. Lookie– you can get the first 2 books together on sale now at fictionwise for only $2.80– what a bargain! If you don't get it yourself, I might have to buy it for you just because.
Cool! Fun to see you all joining up. 🙂
I just wanted to confirm that it's definitely ebooks only and there are no restrictions on whether the books you want are m/m or not. *One young lady got a stern email let me tell you. Hmpf*
Richelle, you are going to hell for tempting Tam so. She's already been grumbling at Chris about pimping the sales to her. LOL.
Okay, I'll play! (I didn't sign up at GR)
First choice: Snared by Sean Michael
Second Choice: Sins of Omission: A Creatures of Sin Novel by India Harper
I'll email my email.
Ok – let's see what are my book choices???
#1: The Dark Tide by Josh Lanyon
#2: To Be Where You Are by KZ Snow.
Good stuff all around. 🙂
Bridget, sure, who am I to turn down a book. And go for a girly/boy book, we'll still love you, a bit. 🙂
Richelle, stop tempting me with FictionWise. You guys are evil.

I change my second choice to Shades of Gray by Brooke McKinley since I just saw that at Val's site and remembered I wanted tor read it.
Tam…email me (my name @ gmail). I'll forward it to you and then delete my copy. I read it and now I'm done.
Hmm…girl/boy? Maybe girl/boy/boy? Hmm…heh.
Now I don't know what I want! Argh!
OK…I tried to resist and failed miserably! You have my Gmail address already, yes?
Oh, choices.
1) Snared (Sean Michael) [Thank you Wren as I didn't know it was out]
2) Strange Fortune (Josh Lanyon) [Mandi's review has me intrigued]
…the Island of Tricksy Hobbitses and Sheepsies…
*snort* Islands…we have a few 🙂
I'll join in.
1st choice: The One That Got Away (2nd edition just released) by Rhianne Aile and Madeleine Urban
2nd choice: Reparation in Blood (Partnership in Blood 4) by Ariel Tachna
Hi all, I'm doing up the secret santa today but I still dont have choices from Nichem and Bridget.
Please post your choices today so I can throw you both into the mix.
Thanks!
Big thanks to my Secret Santa. I can't wait to read your gift!!
